Its already time for us to call in your fibre again.
Its been no time since we closed our last pool due to Co-vid 19 implications on both ourselves and producers. We ran late on the last pool but are back on track.
These challenges have presented us with problems and opportunities but have certainly not hindered our spirit.
We have recently made a move out of our premises in Taieri. We are just this week have moved into our new premises:
78 Falsgrave Street, Waltham, Christchurch
This was a move that we had been planning for some time, as we have been working with Rodney in Taieri who has been training me in the attribute’s mohair. After 4 pools, we are sure that my grading produces quality results that assures both our suppliers and customers are happy.
I have good experience in grading fibre having graded over 100 tonne of other finer fibres over the last 6 years and have enjoyed expanding my experience further.
For growers that wish to see some of their fibre graded in our premises, we look forward to grading with you but must ask you to ring for appointment. We hope this can provide any further insight to your mohair clip.
We also welcome fibre drop-offs by appointment and of course you can still drop off to our agents. Please get in touch if you would like to know the closest agent to you.
We are open here in the warehouse; Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00.
We are happy to receive fibre on Saturdays but please do call ahead so we are here ready to meet you.
We will close off the next pool on the 4th of December as to have all fibre graded before Christmas.
We believe that the markets have reached their low-point and expect prices to increase on the next pool. This can only be good for all parties involved in the mohair industry.
We would also like to welcome any mohair producers to come for our opening/Christmas gathering from Midday on Saturday the fifth of December. Please RSVP as to ensure appropriate catering
It would be great to see you here and put a name to the face of the producers I have graded the fibre for over the last few years and celebrate our new grading facility!
